About Sharon L. Creveling
Associate Attorney
Sharon L. Creveling is an associate attorney at The Goodwin Firm, where she uses her legal powers for good—defending pets, advising businesses, battling legal chaos, and making contracts and trademarks actually make sense.
With over a decade of combined legal and business experience, Sharon joined the firm in February 2025 after serving as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit. There, she handled child welfare cases and, frankly, saw more drama than an entire season of courtroom TV. Before stepping into the courtroom, Sharon sharpened her skills in the corporate finance world, becoming a go-to pro in compliance, due diligence, and client relationships—basically, turning chaos into structure with style.
At The Goodwin Firm, Sharon brings her superpowers of attention to detail, laser-sharp focus, and an unshakable sense of justice to her work. She represents pet owners in all things pet law and advises businesses of all sizes on labor and employment litigation, defamation matters, trademark registrations, contracts, and employee handbooks. If there’s a policy to be drafted, a dispute to be untangled, or an allegedly bitey good boy or girl in legal limbo, Sharon is on the case—coffee in one hand, case law in the other.
Her greatest (and most underappreciated) superpower? Her jaw-droppingly beautiful handwriting. Legend has it that mere sight of her signature on a demand letter has caused the notorious supervillain the Defamation Devil himself to both cease and desist.
Naturally, every superhero has their weaknesses. Sharon’s? Legal documents lacking Oxford commas and the office candy dish—both equally dangerous to her peace of mind.
Originally from North Catasauqua, Pennsylvania (say that three times fast), Sharon moved to Florida in 2006 for the sun—and stayed for the paddleboarding, woodworking, and her refusal to ever own a snow shovel again. She earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, along with a Certificate in Environmental Law, and served as a student editor for the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy—because of course she did.
When she’s not untangling legal knots, Sharon is likely out sunbathing, paddleboarding, or sailing with her local club, dreaming of her future life as a barefoot catamaran captain exploring the world with a cocktail in hand and absolutely no Zoom calls. Or she’s in her friend’s woodshop, turning power tools into instruments of creativity with zero adult supervision.
She’s also a fan of crafting, LEGOs, books, movies, and anything else that feeds her creative brain. She shares her home with four mythologically named companions who have taken the form of a rescue boxer mix (Odin) and three cats (Athena, Hecate, and Artemis)—gods and goddesses, all of them.
